Playing to Win

NEW!! Just out via Kindle and Smashwords, plus a gorgeous, glossy print version ... one of my RITA finalists, Fair Game, retitled -- and with some cut material restored!
When I first sent in Fair Game, it was a little long for the Signet Regency format. I had to cut a scene or two, and reformat it so the paragraphs were "squished up." And then they printed it in a teeny font. Now I can bring you the story the way I originally wrote it -- and I'm so pleased! Here's the blurb:
At the start of the 19th century love is a game to those rich enough to play it, and Trevor Whitlatch is an undefeated champion. His first glimpse of lovely, baseborn Clarissa fills him with desire — and determination. She will be his next mistress.
But love is no game to Clarissa. She has suffered all her life from the choices her mother made, and vows that no child of hers will bear that shame.
Irresistible force ... meet immovable object.
“Imagine Gigi transported to Regency England — and done much better. “
